Miss Bronwyn Anne Ryan and Mr. William Joseph Swinbank were united in marriage on March 13, 2004 at six o'clock in the evening at Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church in Houston, Texas.
The double ring ceremony was officiated by the Reverend Gary Ferbet.
Music for the ceremony was performed by Ms. Catherine Sparks, organist, Dr. Daniel Shipman, trumpeter, Ms. Leanne Zacharias, celloist, Dr. Wendy Bergin, flutist, and Mr. Mike Fahey, violinist.
Mrs. Brenda Sorsby was the soloist, and the Holy Scriptures were read by Mr. Kelly Burkhart.
A reception followed the ceremony at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bradley Swinbank.
On the eve of the wedding the groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Petroleum Club.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sean Patrick Ryan and the granddaughter of Mrs. Jackie Ryan and Mrs. Irene Fuentes.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bradley Swinbank and the grandson of Mrs. Elsa Swinbank and the late Mr. William Swinbank of Houston, Texas; and Mrs. Helen Treichel and the late Mr. Clyde Treichel of Tomball, Texas.
Given in marriage by her father, Mr. Sean Patrick Ryan, the bride wore a gown designed by Priscilla of Boston.
The champagne colored silk gown was adorned with alencon lace appliqués and Austrian crystals.
The back of the bodice was corset style that flowed into a chapel length train.
Her crystal tiara and pearl enhanced veil complimented the gown.
She carried a self-tied bouquet of cream, white, pink and hot pink roses.
Miss Karen Ballard of Paris, Texas served the bride as Maid of Honor.
The Bridesmaids included Mrs. Shelly Burkhart of Riesel, Texas, sister of the groom; Miss Megan House of Paris, Texas; Miss Olivia Thomas of Houston, Texas; Miss Jacy Carter of Cooper, Texas; Miss Martha Yancey of Atlanta, Georgia; and Miss Shonna Nottingham of Paris, Texas.
Miss Marley Morris and Miss Ansley Morris both of Paris, Texas were junior bridesmaids.
House Party attendants included Mrs. Carrie Muzny of Houston, Texas; Miss Brandie Sorsby, and Miss Amanda Sorsby from Tomball, Texas.
Miss Kennedy Davis of Clear Lake, Texas served as the flower girl.
Mr. Reagan Swinbank of Houston, Texas served his brother as Best Man.
The groomsmen included Mr. Jay Ryan of Paris, Texas; Mr. Jason Exum of Paris, Texas; Mr. Mark Laverty, Mr. Kevin Kansas, Mr. Tobin Beilue, Mr. Ivan Larrea and Mr. Jake Ballis, all of Houston, Texas.
Serving as Ushers were Mr. Tommy Connally, Mr. Chris Edwards, Mr. Matt Strickland and Mr. Adam Jackson, all of Houston, Texas; and Mr. David Sorsby from Tomball, Texas.
Master Hudson Burkhart, nephew of the groom, served as ring bearer.
She currently attends the University of Houston.
He graduated from Texas A&M University where he received a B.S. degree in Accounting and a Masters degree in Finance.
He was a member of the Beta Theta Pi Fraternity.
He is employed by Rustin Transportation in Houston, Texas.
Following their honeymoon to Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, the couple will reside in Houston, Texas.
