Miss Kelly Michelle Haun and Mr. Aaron James Wolf were united in marriage on Saturday, March 13, 2004 at five o'clock in the evening at Westminster United Methodist Church in Houston, Texas. The ceremony was officiated by Reverend Donald Bleyle and Reverend Garry Masterson. Ceremony music was provided by a string quartet from The Woodlands Symphony Orchestra and organist Bryan Jepson. Scripture readings were given by Miss Angela Wolf and Miss Jessica Perkins. A reception followed the ceremony at The Junior League of Houston with music provided by NiteBeat Band. On the eve of the wedding, a rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom's parents at Las Alamedas.
Kelly is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. Wesley Haun of The Woodlands, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Morris Schneider of Lincoln, Nebraska and Ms. Virginia Haun of Dawson, Georgia.
Aaron is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Enn Maynard of San Luis Obispo, California and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Wolf of Lago Vista, Texas. He is the grandson of Mrs. Cleone Morgan of Atascadero, California, and the late Mrs. Pauline Mossman of Wichita Falls, Texas.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride chose an elegant gown designed by Tomasina. Fashioned in white silk-faced satin, the empire bodice featured vertical pleating contrasted with a horizontal band under the bust. The sculpted skirt emerged in an elegant flare and was embellished at the hemline with matching vertical pleating. The dress flowed into a chapel length train. To complement her ensemble, Kelly chose a short veil edged with ribbon.
Miss Jennifer Benz Joy of New York, New York served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Erica Leigh Fisher and Miss Ginger Renee Tipton of Fort Worth, Texas, Miss Kacy Wynn Moutray and Miss Amanda Leigh Williams of Dallas, Texas, and Miss Kimberly Elizabeth Lacy of Boston, Massachusetts.
Mr. Matthew Ryan Moscicki of Houston, Texas served as best man. Groomsmen were Mr. William Benjamin Gray of San Antonio, Texas, Mr. Justin Donald Hartsel of Washington, D.C., Mr. John Denny Olmsted of Crowley, Texas, Mr. Gabriel Stevens Price of Kerrville, Texas, and Mr. Shawn Phillip Winkler of Houston, Texas.
Serving as ushers were Mr. Gregory Michael Fields, Mr. Victor Manuel Garcia, and Mr. Ruchir Ashok Kadakia all of Houston, Texas.
The bride is a graduate of J.K. Mullen High School in Denver, Colorado and the University of Texas at Austin, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. She is currently employed by Hewitt Associates in The Woodlands, Texas.
The groom is a graduate of Crowley High School in Crowley, Texas and the University of Texas at Austin, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. He is currently employed by Sungard Energy Systems in Houston, Texas.
Following a honeymoon trip to Maui, the couple will reside in Houston, Texas.
