Miss Angelita Jacquien Bush and Mr. Ali Page Gordon were united in marriage on Sunday, October 12, 2003 at two o'clock in the afternoon at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Atlanta. Following the ceremony, the bride's parents hosted a hors d'orves reception and a seated dinner at The Georgian Terrace Hotel.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Elliott Bush, Jr. of Houston. Miss Tracee Elizabeth Bryant served as the Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids were the bride's sisters, Mrs. Jeanine Smith and Mrs. Yvette Simien. The bride's niece, Mrs. Jacquelyn Elaine Palma served as the hostess.
The groom is the son of Ms. Mary Gordon and Mr. Antony Cramer of Washington, DC. Serving the groom as Best Man was Mr. William Patton, III. The groomsmen were Mr. Byron Donald and Mr. Mikhel Hawkins. Mr. Louis Bush and Mr. Brandon Winslow served as ushers.
She earned a degree in Mathematics from Georgetown University and a Masters in Biostatistics from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. She is currently an Associate Faculty member in the Department of Biostatistics at Emory University in Atlanta. He earned a dual-degree in Mathematics and Mechanical Engineering from Morehouse College and the Georgia Institute of Technology. He received a Masters in Mechanical Engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he is currently pursuing his PHD in Mechanical Engineering.
The couple will reside in Atlanta, Georgia.
