Tanya Anne Matthewson and Ryan Shane Mayces were united in marriage on November 8, 2003 at Clear Lake United Methodist Church in Houston. Reverend Morris Matthis performed the ceremony. A reception was held at Bay Oaks Country Club.
Given in marriage by her parents, the bride is the daughter of Beverly and Frank Matthewson of Brisbane, Australia, formerly of Richmond, Texas. The groom is the son of Linda and Adrian Mayces of Keller, Texas.
Matron of Honor was Melissa Simms and Reagan Mayces served his brother as Best Man.
Tanya is a graduate of Kempner High School and Trinity University. She is a shuttle flight controller for United Space Alliance in Houston, Texas and is currently pursuing her Master of Engineering in Space Operations.
Ryan is a graduate of Texas A&M University and is an environmental engineering consultant with Waid and Associates in Houston, Texas.
After a honeymoon in St. Lucia, the couple will reside in Seabrook, Texas.
