Sanders - 50th
Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Sanders will celebrate their 50th anniversary on April 13, 2002. A trip is being planned for a later date.
Edna McDowell and Raymond Sanders were united in marriage on April 13, 1952, at First Church of the Nazarene in Hannibal. The Rev. Harlow Reed officiated. Attendants were Betty Lawson Reese and Gordon Sanders.
Mrs. Sanders is the daughter of the late Joe and Daphna Rosenburg McDowell. Mr. Sanders is the son of Ernest and Blanche Smith Sanders.
They are the parents of three children, Darrell Sanders and Michelle Cook, both of Hannibal; and Linda Hudson of New London. They have eight grandchildren, Clint Sanders, Jared Sanders, Amanda Sanders, Roger Tobin, Michael Stewart, Tori Harold, Kiley Harold and Laci Cook.
They wish to include one great-grandchild, Drew Tobin.
Mr. Sanders is a retired carpenter and Mrs. Sanders is employed as a door greeter at Wal-Mart. They enjoy being with their family, their church family and being involved in the church's activities.
