Miss Sarah Elizabeth Claybar and Mr. Robert Timothy LaTour were united in marriage on Saturday, June 21, 2003 at seven o'clock in the evening at First United Methodist Church in Orange, Texas. The double ring ceremony was officiated by Reverend Rob Fisher, with music provided by soloist Doug Rogers, organist Donna Rogers, pianist Carolyn Miller and trumpeter Stacy Clark-Killian. Following the ceremony, the bride's parents hosted a reception at Sunset Grove Country Club. On the eve of the wedding, the groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner at The Brown Center. On Friday, Mrs. Mary Ann Scofield, Mrs. Sarah Coffin, Miss Reynee Scofield and Mrs. Sarah Fisher hosted a bridal luncheon.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Brown Claybar of Orange, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Mack Anderson of Lufkin, Texas and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lannie Lloyd Claybar of Orange, Texas. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Laurence LaTour of The Woodlands, Texas. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hogan of The Woodlands, Texas and the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert LaTour of Oceanside, New York.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father. Mrs. Mandy Mazzola served as Matron of Honor. Miss Amanda Moreno and Miss Brandi Nagypal served as Maids of Honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Cara Koza, Mrs. Sarah Fisher, Miss Reynee Scofield and Miss Jenina Parks.
Mr. Mike LaTour served his brother as Best Man. Groomsmen were Warren Claybar, brother of the bride, Larry Nogueira, Scott Hilton, Joe Fiorenza, Shad Hart and Matt West.
Sarah graduated from West Orange-Stark High School in Orange, Texas. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Marketing from Stephen F. Austin State University and was a member of Chi Omega Sorority. Sarah is employed by Bristol Myers-Squibb as a pharmaceutical representative.
Rob graduated from Oak Ridge High School in Conroe, Texas. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Finance from Stephen F. Austin State University and was a member of Theta Chi Fraternity. Rob is Vice-President and Area Manager of Community Home Loan.
Following a honeymoon to Hawaii, Sarah and Rob will reside in Houston.
