The double ring ceremony was officiated by the Reverend John Rooney.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Anthony H. Kivela and Dr. and Mrs. Alfredo A. Cisneros.
Serving as Matron of Honor was Mrs. Marnie Kivela; Maid of Honor, Miss Lorena Garcia; and Bridesmaid, Miss Cristie Renfroe.
Dr. Sumeet Sharma served as best man with Mr. Craig R. Kivela and Mr. James Soward as Groomsmen. Miss Emma Kivela, Niece of the Bride was the flower girl.
Scripture was read by Dr. John Alapat.
A dinner reception was held in the Wildcatter Room at the Petroleum Club with a host of friends, loved ones, and honored guests.
On the eve of the wedding, a rehersal dinner was hosted by the groom's parents at Artista in the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts.
The bride is an Assistant Director of the Harris County Hospital District, Clinical and Hospital Pharmaceutical Operations.
The groom is employed by Baylor College of Medicine, Community Family Practice Branch.
Following their honeymoon to Alaska, the couple will reside in Houston, Texas.
