Patricia Cristin Burke and Jayson Martin Schall were united in marriage on Saturday, May 24, 2003 at Le Méridien Hotel in Cancun, Mexico. A dinner and dance reception followed the beachside ceremony.

Tricia is the daughter of Mrs. Maryanne Burke and Mr. Edward T. Burke, both of Houston, Texas. She is a graduate of St. Agnes Academy. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from the University of Mississippi. Tricia is a member of Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, Directions and Assistance Committee.

Jay is the son of Mrs. Gail G. Schall of Los Angeles, California, and the late Mr. Donald B. Schall. He is a graduate of Loyola High School of Los Angeles and received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Colorado College, where he was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. Jay received his Juris Doctor degree magna cum laude, Order of the Coif from Tulane University School of Law and his Master in Business Administration from Tulane University School of Business. Jay is associated with the Houston office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.

Given in marriage by her parents, and escorted by her father, the bride selected an elegant gown of pale gold satin designed by Vera Wang. The cathedral length veil with blusher accented by pearl combs was designed by her aunt, Karen Smith.

Cindy Head Lynn of Houston, Texas served as Maid of Honor and Heather O'Dell Naples served as Honorary Matron of Honor. The Best Men were Mr. Harris Holcomb Hall of Pasadena, California and Mr. Anthony Roche Zupka of New York City. Ushers were Larry Burke and Jonathan Burke, brothers of the bride.

Following a honeymoon in Spain, the couple will reside in Houston.
