The bride is the daughter of Rob and Glynda Croix of Tomball. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Virginia Pruetz, Mrs. Verda Croix and the great-granddaughter of Verna Sunday.
Melanie is a graduate of Concordia High School of Tomball, and earned BAs in Fine Arts and Interior Design from Valparaiso University and Southwest Texas State. She is employed by Carter Design Associates.
Ms. Vanessa Croix served as Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids were Tami Selle, Juli Richter, Amy Cable, Lisa Burkey, Elizabeth Hendel and Stephanie Cody. Flower Girl was Leah Kowis.
The groom is the son of Mrs. Christine Carl of Nassau Bay and the late Mr. David Carl. He is the grandson of Mr. Victor Russ, and Mrs. Dorothy McLarty.
Robert is a graduate of Clear Creek High School in League City, and holds a BA from UT Austin. He is a cost analyst for KBR.
John Stelzer served as Best Man. Groomsmen were Bill Fanning, Buford Fosnight, Brian Reynolds, Justin Regester, Adrian Smith and Michael Cody. Ring Bearer was Spencer Cody.
