Miss Carrie Lynne Crawford and Mr. Jamey Michael Rosamond were united in marriage on Saturday, February 8, 2003 at half past seven o'clock in the evening at Perkins Chapel on the Southern Methodist University campus in Dallas, Texas. The double ring ceremony was officiated by The Reverend William Boyd Smith of Highland Park United Methodist Church. Music was performed by Heartstrings String Quartet, accompanied by trumpeter, Rodney Booth and organist Benjamin Kolodziej. A reception was held at The Mansion on Turtle Creek with music by Johnny Reno. The groom's father hosted a rehearsal dinner at Joe T. Garcia's in Fort Worth, Texas. On Friday, a luncheon to honor the bride's attendants was hosted by Mrs. John Sutley of Marietta, Georgia and Mrs. Jack Shubert of Naperville, Illinois.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Dennis Crawford of Sugar Land, Texas. The groom is the son of Mr. H. David Rosamond of Singapore and Ms. Julia V. Rosamond of Dallas, Texas.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a gown of ivory silk organza twill designed by Vera Wang. She wore her mother's veil of Brussels Lace and her sister's hand made tiara of porcelain flowers and Austrian crystals.
Serving her sister as Matron of Honor was Mrs. Cynthia Crawford Ray of Houston, Texas. Attendants were Miss Sarah Elizabeth Haney, Mrs. Brooke Hollis Hortenstine, Miss Kathleen Mary Mahoney, Mrs. Elaina Fenn Peterie, Mrs. Danielle Hall Pinkston, and Miss Melinda Anne Rawlinson all of Dallas, Texas; Miss Carol Kristine Anderson of Houston, Texas; Mrs. Jill Brannon Spears of Niceville, Florida; and Mrs. Allison Thompson Luter of Paragould, Arkansas.
Miss Rebecca Lynn Rosamond, niece of the groom, and Miss Alison Holland Spears served as flower girls.
Mr. Brian David Rosamond of Grapevine, Texas served as his brothers' best man. Attending the groom were Mr. Blakely Pratt Bozman, Mr. Travis Jason Briggs, Mr. Blake Vaughan Cecil, Mr. Steven Howard Trent, Mr. John Michael Stewart, Mr. William Craig Wideman, all of Dallas, Texas; Mr. Christopher Daryl Brown of Las Vegas, Nevada; Mr. Bradley Seth Canada of England, Arkansas; and Mr. Gerald Lance Horn of New York, New York.
Mr. Lee Martin Ray, brother-in-law of the bride, and Mr. Shawn Patrick Fullam read Scriptures.
The bride is a graduate of Stratford High School in Houston, Texas and Southern Methodist University where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. She is employed by DDB in Dallas.
The groom is a graduate of Trinity Christian Academy in Dallas, Texas and Southern Methodist University where he was a member of Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity. He is employed by The Arcus Group in Dallas.
Following a honeymoon to Punta Mita, the couple will reside in Dallas, Texas.
