The ceremony was officiated by Father Roger Caesar. Following the ceremony, the bride's parents hosted a reception at The Grand Room North. The groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at the church.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. Richard A. Hightower, Sr. of Houston, Texas, and Mrs. Carolyn Rose W. Hightower of Houston, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Isadora R. Wills of Houston, Texas, and the late Mr. Michael Russell Wills Sr. of Houston, Texas, and Mrs. Annie Hightower and the late Mr. Prentis Hightower of Houston, Texas. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Holden of Houston, Texas, and the late Mr. Mack H. Jones Sr. of Houston, Texas. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Willie Kennedy Sr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry Jones Sr., both of Natchitoches, Louisiana.
The Matron of Honor was served by Mrs. Franchell Robertson Wheaton of Allen, Texas.
Attending the groom as Best Man was his brother, Mr. Kevin Jones of Houston, Texas.
The bride is a graduate of Douglas MacArthur High School in Houston, Texas, and The University of Texas at Austin where she received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Master in Professional Accounting. She is also a Certified Public Accountant and a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She is currently a senior auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. The groom is a graduate of Dwight D. Eisenhower High School in Houston, Texas, and attended Hill Junior College in Hillsboro, Texas, and the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas, where he majored in Business Management. He is currently a manager for General Nutrition Centers.
The couple will honeymoon in Maui, Hawaii and reside in Houston, Texas.
