Miss Sheryl Marie Wrobleski and Mr. Joseph Brown Rozier were united in marriage on Saturday, November 23, 2002 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Galveston, Texas. Fr. John Bok officiated at the double ring ceremony, and scripture readings were given by the bride's brother, Mr. Gregg Wrobleski. A dinner reception was held at the historic Garten Verein in Galveston and hosted by the bride's parents. On the eve of the wedding, the groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner at Luigi's Ristorante Italiano in Galveston.
The bride is the daughter of Regis and Sally Wrobleski of El Lago, Texas. Grandparents are Elaine and Edward Owen of Texas City; the late James W. Nagel of Galveston; and the late Lucille M. and Jerome C. Wrobleski of Texas City. The groom is the son of Dr. Carolyn Rozier and Mr. Charles Laird, Jr. of Dallas, also the son of Mr. Peter Rozier of Dallas.
The bride wore an ivory wedding gown by Demetrios and was escorted by her father. Miss Claudia Joskowicz of New York served as Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids included Mrs. Heather Stoker of North Carolina, Mrs. Vicky Bollenbacher of Colorado, and Miss Erika Bush of Houston. Houseparty attendant was Miss Krista Olson of California. Mr. Gary Garcia of Houston served as Best Man. Groomsmen included Mr. Jay Guerrero of Houston, Mr. Mike Bollenbacher of Colorado and Mr. Scott Allgood of Houston.
Both bride and groom earned a Bachelor degree in Architecture from the University of Houston. Sheryl is employed as a production coordinator and office manager of Structural Consulting Company, Houston. Joseph is a senior associate at Eubanks Group Architects in Galveston/Houston.
Following a honeymoon to the Bahamas, the couple will reside in Galveston.
