Miss Lauren Kramer DeLorenzo and Mr. Hans Bethea Brindley were united in marriage on Saturday, November 30, 2002, at seven thirty in the evening at St. Michael Catholic Church. Father Sean Horrigan and Father James Vann Johnston officiated the ceremony. A reception followed at The Junior League with music by the Mambo Jazz Kings. On the eve of the wedding, a rehearsal dinner was hosted at The Houstonian by the parents of the groom.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Samuel DeLorenzo of Houston. The groom is the son of Mrs. Mary Gayle Wiffin of Sugar Land and Dr. Paul Claunch Brindley of Tiki Island.
Katherine DeLorenzo Lum and Andrea DeLorenzo Ferruzzo of Houston served their sister as matrons of honor. Bridesmaids were Kristen Wylie Burton, Kendle Ruth Ege, Robyn Elizabeth Lee, Erin Elizabeth Riley, Katherine Kramer Upton, Sarah Ann Vaughn and Jenny Reese Venghaus all of Houston and Emily Roeser Wehring of Austin. Members of the House Party were Lindsay Livingston Hadlock of Boston, Stephanie Ellen Schulz of Austin, Lindy Upton McGee and Ashlea Anne Stuart of Houston.
Paul Claunch Brindley, Jr. of Los Angeles and Mitchell Mace Brindley of Smithfield, Virginia served their brother as best men. Groomsmen were Lance Jason Bertolino, Jeffrey Michael Cameron, William Troy MacMane and George Hall More, IV all of Houston, Lance Odom of Austin, Charles Edwin Ward of Dallas, Michael Ray Dike of Fort Worth, and Grady George Goodwin of Lubbock. Ushers were John Ferruzzo, William Brett Lum, and Wade Hoyt Whilden, Jr. all of Houston and Kelly James Dwyer of Austin.
Caroline Kramer Lum and William DeLorenzo Lum of Houston served their aunt as flower girl and ring bearer.
The bride is a graduate of St. Agnes Academy and The University of Texas. She is a member of Kappa Alpha Theta where she served as President. The groom is a graduate of John Foster Dulles High School and The University of Texas. He is a member of the Kappa Alpha Order and the Silver Spurs.
Following a honeymoon to the British Virgin Islands, the couple will reside in Houston.
