He earned a bachelor of science degree in aviation in 1993 from Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio.
He is a C-130 pilot for the Ohio Air National Guard in Mansfield, Ohio and also flies for Trans World Express in St. Louis.
Following a wedding trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, the McCrackens are residing in St. Louis.
