Mr. and Mrs. Foy Preston Midkiff of Houston, and the granddaughter of Mrs. Ruth Ratliff and the late Mr. Lynn Ratliff of Madisonville, Texas, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Farrah Midkiff of Midkiff, Texas.
The groom is the son of Ms. Carol Scott and Mr. Ned Vaughan Scott Jr. and the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Dillard Carlille Norwood of Wichita Falls, Texas, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ned Vaughan Scott of Houston.
The bride's sister, Ms. Laura Lynn Barrett of Houston, served as the Matron of Honor. The bridesmaids were Miss Shannon Scott, sister of the groom, Ms. Lynley Stewart, cousin of the bride, Miss Melissa Chrisco, Mrs. Maya Blanton, Ms. Shelley Daniel and Miss Kathryn Musslewhite.
Serving the groom as his Best Man was his father Mr. Ned Vaughan Scott Jr. The groomsmen were Mr. James Scott, brother of the groom, Mr. Dylan Scott, nephew of the groom, Mr. Eric Blanton, Mr. Jeremy Daniel, Mr. Matthew Musslewhite and Mr. Sean Mendoza.
The bride is a 1992 graduate of Stratford High School and a 1997 honors graduate of Baylor University. Callie teaches second grade in Wilchester Elementary School in Spring Branch ISD.
The groom is a 1992 graduate of Memorial High School and a 1992 graduate of South West Texas University. Vaughan is an analyst with Reliant Resources.
Following their honeymoon in the Virgin Islands, the couple will reside in Houston.
