Elizabeth Kay Davis and Pedro P. Lopez were united in marriage on Saturday, September 14, 2002 at Randolph Air Force Base, Chapel One, in San Antonio, Texas. Pastor K. T. DeVries performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Colonel and the late Mrs. John W. Davis III of San Antonio. She is employed, as a financial analyst, with Hewlett-Packard in Houston, Texas. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Larry J. Melancon of Stonewall, Texas. He is employed, as an advertising sales rep, with the Houston Chronicle. The bride and groom both received their degrees at the University of Texas at Austin.
Serving as Matron of Honor was Kelly King. Bridesmaids were Molly Cauffiel, Elena Armstrong, Heather Melancon, Roxanne Castanon and Marquea White.
Serving as Best Man was Chad Melancon. Groomsmen were John Barthels, Richard Davis, T. J. Clifton, Jeff Armstrong and Ritchie Melancon. Flower girls were Kaylyn Fahrenkrug and Kayla Rimer.
Ring bearers were Eddie Fahrenkrug and Cameron Martinez. Ushers were Ed Fahrenkrug and Wes Davis. Members of the house party were Amy Glach, Margaret Martinez and Becky Niedorf.
Following a reception at the Enlisted Club of the Randolp Air Force Base, the couple left for a honeymoon trip on a Hawaiian cruise. The newlyweds will reside in Houston, Texas.
