Miss Constance Faith Morris and Mr. David Kent Yowell were united in marriage on Saturday, October 20, 2001, at the Roseland Plantation, in Tyler, Texas. The ceremony was officiated by Pastor Joseph Canal. The rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom's parents, was held at Mansion on the Hill in Tyler, Texas.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Morris, Jr. of Tyler, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Dorothy Reynolds and the late Ralph Reynolds and Mrs. Doylese Morris and the late Charles E. Morris, Sr., and great-granddaughter of Mrs. Nolie Wood and the late Lelon Wood also of Tyler, Texas. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Yowell of Friendswood, Texas. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Crosland of Houston, Texas and Mr. Guy Yowell and the late Mrs. Guy Yowell of Sherman, Texas, and great nephew of Mrs. Cleo Parnell of Friendswood, Texas.
Miss Jenny English served as Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids were Miss April Morris, Miss Melanie Morris and Mrs. Tender TenBrink, sisters of the bride and Miss Sandra Yowell, sister of the groom. Miss Krista Zieschang served as flower girl and Miss Hannah Zieschang served as junior attendant to the bride.
Mr. Paul Yowell, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Mr. Steven Yowell, brother of the groom, Mr. Burritt Hess, Mr. Joseph Norris, Mr. Kevin Lemmon and Mr. Shea Gray.
The bride is a graduate of Tyler Junior College and attended University of Texas at Tyler. She is currently working for Hollywood Builders Hardware. The groom is a graduate of Baylor University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Programming. He is currently managing Hollywood Builders Hardware in Houston.
Mr. and Mrs. David Yowell honeymooned in France and reside in Houston, Texas.
