Miss Kristine Marie Rabel and Mr. Mark Alan Jones were united in marriage on Saturday, August 10, 2002 at four o'clock in the afternoon at Highland Park United Methodist Church in Dallas. The double ring ceremony was officiated by the Reverend Todd Harris with a scripture reading given by Kayla Olson. The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father. Music was provided by organist Chris Brunt, vocalist Dwayne Davis and the Mori String Quartet. A reception followed at the Petroleum Club Sky Lobby with music by The Project. On the eve of the wedding the groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Herbert Rabel of Houston. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Wilson of Houston and the late Mr. and Mrs. Alois Rabel of Weimar, Texas. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Troy Jones of Amarillo, Texas. He is the grandson of Mrs. Ida Tuttle and the late Lewis Tuttle of Durant, Oklahoma and Mr. Jesse Jones and the late Rudelle Jones of Durant, Oklahoma.
Serving as the bride's matron of honor was Mrs. Emily Smith Mills of Dallas. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Ashley Foster Allen and Miss Angi Warren of Dallas and Mrs. Stacie Salkeld Wright of Boerne. Members of the house party were Miss Hollan Gibson of Los Angeles, Mrs. Jill Rodgers of Lexington and Dr. Ginnie Scroggins of Houston.
Mr. Chris Olson of The Colony served as the Best Man. Groomsmen were Mr. James Covington of Fort Worth, Mr. David Jones of Dallas and Mr. Clay Rabel of Houston. Serving as ushers were Staff Sergeant Jamie Arrington of Washington D.C. and Mr. Marshall Phaneuf of Dallas. The ring bearer was Master Christopher Jones.
The bride is a graduate of Cypress Creek High School in Houston. She received a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Masters of Science in Accounting from Texas A&M University. She is a member of Delta Delta Delta. Kristi is a trade accountant for HBK Investments in Dallas.
The groom is a graduate of Tascosa High School in Amarillo. He received a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters of Business Administration from Texas Tech University. Mark served in the United States Marine Corps during the Gulf War and is now a senior consultant with Premier, Inc. currently assigned to Texoma Healthcare System in Dennison.
Following a honeymoon trip to Barbados, Kristi and Mark will reside in Allen, Texas.
