Miss Jennifer Lynn Herolz and Mr. Marc Tellepsen were united in marriage on Saturday, January 26, 2002 at Trinity Episcopal Church in Houston at half after five in the evening. The double-ring ceremony was officiated by the Reverend William B. Miller. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the historic Rockefeller Hall with music provided by the Island Mambo Jazz Kings. On the eve of the wedding, a Mexican Fiesta Rehearsal Dinner was hosted by the groom's parents at The Courtyard at Saint James Place.
The bride is the daughter of Ms. Trudy Hutchings Herolz and Mr. Robert Arthur Herolz, Jr. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Francis S. Chase and the late Mr. William Lewis Hutchings and the late Mrs. Mary Kathryn Kilburn and Mr. Robert Arthur Herolz, Sr. The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Tellepsen, II. He is the grandson of Mrs. June Learned Tellepsen and the late Mr. Howard Tellef Tellepsen Sr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Anthony Myre. Both Mrs. Francis S. Chase and Mrs. June Learned Tellepsen were present at the wedding.
Mrs. Allison Herolz Teheng served her sister as the matron of honor. Bridesmaids included Ms. Elizabeth Revelle Hughes, Mrs. Shannon Siebert Murphy, Mrs. Jennifer Paige Nelson, Mrs. Betsy Lane Tellepsen and Ms. Ingrid Anna Tellepsen.
Mr. Tom Tellepsen III served his brother as the best man. Groomsmen included Mr. Pierre Gendebien, Mr. Edwin Loren Kirkpatrick, Mr. John Herrick Merriman, Mr. Peter Thomas Nelson, Mr. John Graham Norwood, Mr. Raymundo Jose Teheng, Jr. and Mr. Robert Clint Walker.
Jennifer, a graduate of Lamar High School, received a bachelor's degree from Trinity University of San Antonio, Texas and is currently working for Itochu International Inc. Marc, also a graduate of Lamar High School, received a bachelor's degree from St. Olaf College of Northfield, Minnesota, and is currently teaching at the High School for Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice.
Following a honeymoon trip to Paris, Jennifer and Marc will reside in Houston.
