Wedding Announcements have been received of the intimate family wedding of Miss Rebecca Sealy Pinckard to Frederic Porter McCown on December 26th, 2001.
A six generation Texan, Miss Pinckard is the daughter of Mrs. Jane Burton Pinckard of Houston and the late William Edward Pinckard of Santa Rosa, California.
She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Middleton Burton of Galveston and the great granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Sealy, also of Galveston, Texas.
Mr. McCown, a fifth generation Texan, is the son of the late Captain Henry Young McCown, USN Retired and Mrs. McCown of Austin, Texas.
He was born in Dallas, Texas and was graduated from the University of Texas Petroleum Engineering School and Harvard Business School.
He has resided in Houston for the past 30 years.
