Miss Kristen Nicole Allen and Mr. Samuel Joseph Dimiceli, Jr., were united in marriage on Saturday, November 17, 2001, at two o'clock in the afternoon at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Houston, Texas. The double ring ceremony was officiated by Monsignor Frank Rossi. Music for the ceremony included soloist Christy Berteau, cousin of the bride, organist Carolyn Mattax and trumpeter Jody Ilgenfritz. A reception followed at BraeBurn Country Club with music provided by Graffiti. Mr. and Mrs. Tony J. Dimiceli, grandparents of the groom, hosted a rehearsal dinner at the University Club on the eve of the wedding.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chalmus E. Allen of Richmond, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Catherine Dow Bryan and the late Mr. Williams Denman Ellis, Sr., and Mrs. Vallie R. Allen and the late Mr. Cecil Rice Allen. The groom is the son of Mr. Sammy Dimiceli, Sr., and Mrs. Denise Torregrossa Dimiceli of Houston, Texas. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Tony J. Dimiceli and the late Mr. and Mrs. Luke Torregrossa.
Joie Ann Trombatore served as Maid of Honor, and Jacquelyn Trombatore Campise served as Matron of Honor. Bridemaids were Suzanne Conwell, Stephanie Torregrossa and Ginny Gayle. Kristin Daly served as Flower Girl.
Tony Dimiceli served his brother as Best Man. Groomsmen included: Cory Allen, Andres Valdes, Kyle Pickett and Eric Mayfield. Andrew Flores served as Ring Bearer. The ushers were Mr. Chad Allen, Mr. Joe C. Trombatore, Mr. Michael Campise, Mr. Michael Torregrossa, Mr. Bobby Williams and Mr. John Shirley.
Following a 7-day cruise in the Western Caribbean, Mr. & Mrs. Dimiceli will reside in Houston, Texas.
