Miss Katherine Foerster Martin and Mr. Lee Michael Rush were united in marriage at six o'clock in the evening on Saturday, November 3, 2001, at Trinity Episcopal Church, Houston. The Reverend Doctor Richard J. Petranek of St. Francis Church officiated at the ceremony and Penny Robertson and Amy Thorn Baker gave the scripture readings. Music for the ceremony was provided by The Episcopal High School Madrigal Singers, Julia Hall, Director, Troy Rowley, trumpeter and Andrew Bowen, organist. The bride's parents hosted the reception at The Petroleum Club where Yvonne Washington and the Mix provided the music. On the eve of the wedding, the groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Treebeard's.

The full skirt swept into a chapel length train from soft pleats at the hip.
