Miss Janet Elizabeth Foreman and Mr. Matthew Logan Eckert were united in marriage on Saturday, November 10, 2001, at six o'clock in the evening at The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Kingwood, Texas.
The Reverend Dennis Fotinos officiated at the candlelight, double-ring ceremony. Scripture readers were Mrs. Lori Gowin and Mr. Trey Crocker.
A reception was held in the Wedgwood Ballroom of the Wyndham Hotel.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner in the Pavilion at Kingwood Country Club.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howell Dudley Foreman, Jr. of Houston, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Thomas Cook Frazar of DeRidder, Louisiana and the late Mr. Thomas Cook Frazar and the late Mr. and Mrs. Howell Dudley Foreman, Sr. of Panama City, Florida.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Nolting of Kingwood, Texas, and Mr. and Mrs. Steven Eckert of Humble, Texas.
He is the grandson of Mrs. Arthur Simpson and the late Mr. Arthur Simpson of St. Louis, Missouri, and Mr. and Mrs. Lester Eckert of Millstadt, Illinois.
Ms. Kathryn Sjoden was the Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Susan Bergman, Mrs. Kristi Cooper, and Mrs. Vanessa Vacek. Honored attendants were Mrs. Christina Petrie, Mrs. Lori Jordan, and Mrs. Kelly Young. Melanie and Sydney Foreman, nieces of the bride, served as flower girls.
The Best Man was Mr. Patrick Little. Groomsmen were Mr. Travis Eckert, Dr. Christopher Keller and Mr. Jeffery Moore. Mr. Dudley Foreman, III, Mr. Michael Nolting, Mr. Jeffery Sealey, Mr. Drew Sealey, Mr. Shawn Smith and Mr. Danny Word were ushers.
The bride, a graduate of Westfield High School, received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Disorders from Baylor University where she was a member of Chi Omega. She earned a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Texas Woman's University and is working as a Speech-Language Pathologist. The groom, a graduate of Humble High School, received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Texas A&M. He is an account manager for Hall Kinion.
Following a honeymoon to Aruba, the couple will reside in Houston, Texas.
