Miss Bryan Ashley Hill of Dallas and Mr. Brian Patrick Lynch of Houston were united in marriage at 7:00 in the evening August 4, 2001 at St. Paul's Church in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Dr. William J. Carl III officiated the ceremony. A reception followed at Hacienda Calderon. The groom's mother hosted a rehearsal dinner the previous night at Casa del Arcangel.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Pressley Hallam and Mr. and Mrs. Gary Lee Hill, all of Dallas. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Henrietta McCarty Cannon of Lubbock, the late Mr. Vernon Colville Cannon, Mrs. Jackie Hill Caputo of Horseshoe Bay, and the late Mr. Leon Walter Hill.
The groom is the son of Mrs. Sandra Kaye Lynch of Lake McQueeney and the late Mr. Ross Moore Lynch Jr. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Delwin Rushing of Houston, the late Mr. Ross Moore Lynch Sr. and the late Mrs. Eleanor Lynch Burt.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, Gary Lee Hill. Kristen Marit Cox of Dallas served as the Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Diane Parker, sister of the groom, of Carrollton, Louise Kathryn Hallam, step-sister of the bride, and Jennifer McKay Keiser, both of Dallas. Members of the House Party were Taylor Shawn Hatfield, Hayley Camille Hatfield, and Casey Christine McCaleb, cousins of the bride, all of Lubbock.
Serving as the groom's best man was Scott Alan Carr of Houston. The groomsmen were LaVan Riley Parker III, brother-in-law of the groom, of Carrollton; Nathan Ross Brandon of Austin; Michael David Fertitta of Beaumont; and Kyle Felton Krouse of Houston. Serving as ushers were Andrew Thomas Hallam and Michael Jason Sands, step-brothers of the bride, both of Dallas. Cullen Riley Parker, nephew of the groom, served as the Ring Bearer.
The bride is a graduate of Highland Park High School in Dallas. She earned her bachelor's and master's degree from The University of Texas at Austin. The groom is a graduate of Strake Jesuit College Preparatory in Houston. He earned his bachelor's degree from The University of Texas at Austin as well.
The couple spent its honeymoon in Zihuatanejo, Mexico, and is now residing in Houston.
