Miss Amy Kathleen Stuyck and Mr. Peter Lawrence Watson were united in marriage on Saturday, September 15, 2001 at half past seven in the evening at St. Anne Catholic Church. Father Tom Mailloux performed the double ring ceremony. Organist Jim Ross, trumpeter Daniel Shipman, violinist Matthew Loden and soloist Leigh Shipman provided music. A reception was held following the ceremony at River Oaks Country Club with music provided by Yvonne Washington. On the eve of the wedding the groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Ruggles' Grill.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Paul Stuyck of Houston. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Alois Charles Lederer, Jr. of Houston, Texas and the late Mr. Alois Charles Lederer, Jr., and Mrs. Maurice Louis Stuyck of West Bloomfield, Michigan and the late Mr. Maurice Louis Stuyck.
The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Larry Cordell Watson of Nassau Bay, Texas. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John Edmund Silk of Naples, Florida, Mrs. Charlotte Raur Silk of Omaha, Nebraska and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Cordell Watson of Odessa, Texas.
Mrs. Jennifer Wilson Brown of Houston, Texas, served as Matron of Honor and Miss Molly Gardner Moore of Houston, Texas, served as Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids included Miss Shannon Brookes Watson and Miss Emily Silk Watson, sisters of the groom, both of Austin, Texas.

Amy is a graduate of The Kinkaid School in Houston. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from the University of Texas at Austin where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. She received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Houston Law Center in May, 2001 and is employed by Shannon, Martin, Finkelstein & Sayre, P.C. in Houston.
Peter is a graduate of Clear Creek High School in League City. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration in MIS and Quantitative Business Analysis from Baylor University where he was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. He received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Houston Law Center in May, 2001 and is employed by Looper, Reed & McGraw, P.C. in Houston.
Following a honeymoon to Hawaii, Mr. and Mrs. Watson will reside in Houston.
