Elizabeth Ines Trujillo and Javier Guadalupe Salinas were united in matrimony on Sunday, May 20, at 4:30 p.m., at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. The ceremony was officiated by Monsignor James Anderson. A reception followed at the Junior League of Houston.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. Jose Maria Trujillo (deceased) and Mrs. Luisa Meilan Trujillo and the granddaughter of Mr. Juan Meilan Castro and Mrs. Rogelia Guerrero de Meilan and Mr. David Trujillo and Mrs. Petra Trujillo. The groom is the son of The Honorable Guadalupe Salinas and Mrs. Orie Salinas and the grandson of Mr. Herman and Mrs. Maria Alvarado and Mr. Arnulfo and Mrs. Benita Salinas.
The bride was escorted to the alter by her eldest brother, Dr. Jorge Daniel Trujillo. Aaron Salinas, the groom's brother, served as best man and Mrs. Alejandra Gonzalez served as matron of honor. Ms. Lorie Salinas presented the "arras" a Spanish Catholic wedding tradition.
Bridesmaids included Dr. Maie St. John, Mrs. Fiorella Roca and Ms. Diana Meza. Ms. Cassandra Ines Trujillo served as junior bridesmaid. The groomsmen included Antonio Cedeno Ramos, Daniel Romo and Ms. Matias Adrogue. Lady Alyssa Marie Trujillo served as flower girl and Master Antonio V. Cedeno served as ring bearer.
Relatives and friends from as far away as Paris, France, California and various locations in Mexico, were present at the wedding.
Elizabeth attended Duchesne Academy and Javier Strake Jesuit High School. The bride and the groom are both practicing attorneys, graduated from the University of Houston Law Center. Javier also has a masters of Business Administration from the University of Houston. Elizabeth currently works for LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae and Javier for the Legal department of the City of Houston.
