Harry and Linda Gould of New London have announced the engagement of their daughter, Krista Gale Gould, to Scott Eric Porter.
He is the son of Johnnie and Lynda Porter of Eugene.
The prospective bride earned an associate of arts degree in 2001 from Hannibal-LaGrange College and is currently attending Lincoln University in Jefferson City.
She is employed by Missouri State Credit Union.
The prospective bridegroom is a student at Lincoln University and is employed by Ruby Tuesday.
The wedding is planned for 1 p.m. Aug. 18, 2001 at the First Baptist Church of New London.
