Miss Megan Adelle Kleine and Mr. David Andrew Morris, Junior were united in marriage on Saturday, May 12, 2001, at five thirty in the evening at Maxwell Street Presbyterian Church in Lexington, Kentucky by The Reverend Dana C. Jones, Jr. A reception followed at Fasig-Tipton with music by Familiar Faces. On the eve of the wedding, the groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at The Mansion at Griffin Gate.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gary James Kleine of Lexington, Kentucky. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. William Robert Purinton and the late Col. Purinton of Tyler, TX and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Raymond Kleine of Lexington, KY.The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Andrew Morris of Houston. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Arvil J. Lewis of Fort Worth, TX and Mrs. David C. Morris and the late Mr. Morris of Dallas, TX.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory duchess satin gown designed by Vera Wang.
Lisa Erin Dubbe of New York City served as Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids were Holly Lynn Hacker and Kristen McCowan Hartley of Washington, D.C.; Amy Elizabeth Rogers of Lexington, KY; Erin Noel Flynn of London, England; Alison Paige Ebbert of Los Angeles, CA; Sara Daly Edgecomb and Wellesley Lewis Morris of Houston; and Danielle Elaine Strader of New Jersey.
Nathan Frazier Gilbert of Dallas served as Best Man. Groomsmen were Blake Barnes Morris, Jackson Greenwood Wise, Shawn Adair Patterson, John Richards Frederick, Travis Scott Haggard and Clark Raymond Edgecomb IV all of Houston; Erich Alexander Kleine of Dallas, TX and Jeremy Ritchie Garner of Atlanta, GA. Ushers were Jason Aaron Presley, Jeffrey David Boldrick and Gregory Stephen Rickman.
The bride is a graduate of Henry Clay High School in Lexington, KY and the University of Texas at Austin. She is currently employed by Southwest Bank of Texas.
The groom is a graduate of St. John's School in Houston and the University of Texas at Austin where he was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha. He is currently employed by Trione and Gordon.
Following a honeymoon to the U.S. and British Virgin Islands, the couple will reside in Houston.
