Jennifer Prescott Hicks and Steven Bradley McDowell were united in marriage Saturday, May 5, 2001.

An outdoor ceremony on the lawn of The Houstonian Hotel, Club and Spa was followed by a reception buffet and dance in the Evergreen Ballroom.

The bride, the daughter of Charles and Julie Fix and Bruce and Janice Hicks of Sugar Land, is chief financial officer of Corralloy, Inc. in Houston.

The groom, the son of Jim and Arlene McDowell, formerly of Kingwood and now of Conroe, is a financial analyst for Dynegy.

Following a honeymoon trip to Puerto Vallarta, the couple will reside in West Houston.
