Miss Kristi Anne Chinnis and Mr. James Patrick O'Connell were united in marriage on Saturday, January 27, 2001 at 7:30 in the evening at St. Michael Catholic Church in Houston, Texas.
Monsignor Edward Randall officiated the double ring ceremony. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the West Lake Club with music provided by the Argyles.
On the eve of the wedding, Mr. and Mrs. John F. O'Connell, Sr., hosted the rehearsal dinner at the Junior League of Houston.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Chinnis of Deer Park, Texas.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John F. O'Connell, Sr. of Houston, Texas.
Kristi is a graduate of Deer Park High School and University of Houston Clear Lake where she received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing.
Patrick is a graduate of Strake Jesuit and Texas A&M, where he was a member of the Corps of Cadets. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
Following a honeymoon to Italy, Greece and the Greek Isles, Kristi and Patrick will reside in Sugarland.
