Michelle Denise Block and Benjamin Jay Frankfort were united in marriage on November 18, 2000 at 7:30 in the evening at the Omni Houston Hotel. The ceremony was officiated by Rabbi Steven Gross and Cantor Ralph Katz. A black tie reception including dinner and dancing followed the ceremony in the Grand Salon. On the eve of the wedding, the groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Damian's Cucina Italiana.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin J. Block of Houston, Texas. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William J. Frankfort of Westbury, New York.
Michelle is a graduate of the University of Kansas and is employed by MetroMarketing Services. Benjamin is a graduate of Duke University and is presently a student in the M.D./Ph.D program at Baylor College of Medicine studying genetics.
Following a honeymoon to Los Cabos, Benjamin and Michelle are currently residing in Houston.
