Miss Julie Elizabeth Rosenfeld and Mr. Garrett Wheeler Hall were united in marriage on Saturday, January 13, 2001 at half past seven o'clock in the evening at The St. Regis Hotel. Judge Eric Andell officiated the double ring ceremony. Music was provided by Encore Strings Quartet. Following the ceremony, the bride's parents hosted a formal dinner with entertainment by The Works. On the eve of the wedding, the groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at The Cadillac Bar.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Henry Rosenfeld of Houston, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis K. Good, Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. Henry L. Rosenfeld, all of New Orleans, Louisiana.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles LeMoyne Hall of San Antonio, Texas. He is the grandson of Mrs. Allie Hall and the late Mr. LeMoyne Hall and Mrs. Francis Wheeler and the late Mr. Malcolm Wheeler, all of San Antonio, Texas.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride chose an elegant tailored gown designed by Wearkstadt of New York. The strapless bodice was fashioned in silk-faced satin. The bride's attendants were gowned in strapless black velvet sheaths.
Mrs. Jennifer Kendrick of Indianapolis, Indiana served as Matron of Honor and Ms. Stacy Schoenfeld of Prairie Village, Kansas served as Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids included Mrs. Pam White, sister of the groom from Nashville, Tennessee, Ms. Lauren Brzowskie of Dallas, Texas, Ms. Virginia Chandler of Austin, Texas, Ms. Jennifer Good of New Orleans, Louisiana and Ms. Laurel Crabtree of Houston.
Mr. LeMoyne Hall, father of the groom served as best man. Groomsmen included Mr. Greg Rosenfeld brother of the bride from San Francisco, California, Mr. Malcolm White from Nashville, Tennessee, Mr. Scott Portlock, of Los Angeles, California, Mr. Clark Varner, Mr. Toby Townsend and Mr. David Thailing and Mr. Kurt King all of Houston and Mr. Doug English of Austin, Texas.
Julie is a graduate of Stratford High School in Houston and is a graduate of Indiana University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Systems. She is currently a Sales Program Manager with Dell Computer in Austin.
Garrett graduated from MacArthur High School in San Antonio and Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance. He is currently an E-Commerce Product Manager with Dell Computer.
Following a honeymoon to Bali, Indonesia, Mr. and Mrs. Hall will reside in their new home in Austin.
