Phil Ray Magee IV

Susan Amanda Sinex and Phil Ray Magee IV were united in marriage on Saturday, January 13, 2001 at half past seven o'clock in the evening at St. Paul's United Methodist Church. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Reverend Gail Williford and Father William Brooks. The reception followed at the Houston Country Club with music provided by Commercial Art. On the eve of the wedding, the groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner at Darby's on the Parkway.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald G. Sinex of Houston, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Jane E. Walker and the late Roy L. Walker and Mr. and Mrs. Gene O. Sinex and the late Betty Faye Sinex.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Thomas of Tustin, California and Mr. Phil Ray Magee III of Kerrville, Texas. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Weldon A. Schramm and Mrs. Mary Margaret Mayfield and the late Phil Ray Magee II.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose a gown designed by Christos.

Melanie Magee Maiona, sister of the groom and Krista Treadaway Sinex, sister-in-law of the bride served as matrons of honor. Bridesmaids were Kimberly Kay Clark, Annemarie Cook, Juli Layne Hefley, Shelly Tamborello Masterson, and Michelle Billette Toner.

Mr. John Patrick Salvagio, friend of the groom served as best man. Groomsmen were Joseph Todd Glazer, Chad Edward Jenson, James Wilson Kennedy, Marc Anthony Maiona, Jon Randall Sims, and Robert Todd Sinex. Ushers were John Ferruzzo, William Douglas Masterson and Michael Ley Wilson.

Master William Walker Sinex, nephew of the bride, served as the ring bearer with Miss Henning Beatrix Wallace, friend of the bride and groom, serving as flower girl.

The bride is a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and the University of Oklahoma where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. Susan is employed by Pro Staff on site at the Texas Children's Hospital. The groom is a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and the University of Arizona where he was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. Phil is employed with S.B.I., Inc. as a business development manager.

Following a honeymoon trip to Maui and Lanai, Hawaii, Mr. and Mrs. Magee will reside in Houston, Texas.
