Doctor Heather Lynn McAnally and Mr. Henry Durward (Trey) Thompson III were united in marriage on Saturday, July 29, 2000 at eight o'clock in the evening at Chapelwood United Methodist Church with the Reverend Matt Russell officiating. A reception followed at the Houston Center Club. The groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at the River Oaks Garden Club.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nix McAnally of Spring, Texas. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Durward Thompson, Jr. of Corpus Christi, Texas.
Laura McAnally served her sister as Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids were Jill Attebury, Carrie Chaffin, Amy Pope, Kristen Porter, Alysha Rose, Maryann Tackett, Ginny Thompson, Alix McAnally and Taylor Thompson. The flower girl was Taylor Kunkel. The ring bearer was Hunter Thompson.
Erik Garza served as the groom's best man. Groomsmen were Ty Black, Garrett Land, Neal Meadows, Alan Nisbet, Aaron Polk, Bryan Ritchey, and Charlie Welch. Ushers were Clay McAnally, Mike Szymanski, Forrest Thompson, and Scott Thompson.
Members of the house party were Angela Anton, Wendy Farrell, Jennifer Kunkel, and Keely Moore. Readers were Tiffany Henderson and Steven McAnally. Soloists were Jill Attebury and Dr. and Mrs. Trumon Davis.
Heather is a graduate of Klein High School. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A& M University and was a member of Delta Delta Delta. She graduated from The University of Texas Dental Branch - Houston and will start private practice in Katy.
Trey is a graduate of W. B. Ray High School in Corpus Christi. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Bioengineering from Texas A&M University where he was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon. He is a Senior at The University of Texas-Houston Dental Branch.
After a honeymoon to Antigua, Mr. and Mrs. Thompson will reside in Houston.
