Lauren Kathryn Fillip and Nathan Eugene McCune were married Saturday, August 12, 2000 at St. Mary of the Assumption in Waco, Texas. Father Angelo Bertini officiated the ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Mark and Joan Fillip of Cypress, Texas. The groom's parents are Ray and Sidney McCune of China Spring, Texas.
Kathleen Fillip, sister of the bride, served as Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids were Nicole Plunk of Arlington, Krissy James of College Station, Kayla McCune, sister of the groom, and Donna Matzig of College Station.
Harold Moran of Austin served as Best Man, Groomsmen were Brent Coatney of China Spring, Blake Padgett of Waco, Lance Mathews of College Station, and Justin Smith of Waco. Ushers were Randy Moran of Waco and Todd Minnish of China Spring.
Immediately following the ceremony a reception was held in Knox Hall at the Texas Ranger Museum.
The couple will reside in College Station after a cruise to the Bahamas.
