Miss Jennifer Marie Limmer and Mr. Clay Murray Thomas were united in marriage on Saturday, April 10, 1999 at four o'clock in the afternoon at Chapelwood United Methodist Church in Houston.
Reverend James Michael Turley officiated the double ring ceremony.
Immediately following the ceremony, a reception was held at Tin Hall.
On the eve of the wedding, the groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Memorial Forest Club.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Herbert Limmer of Houston.
She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Limmer of Hamilton, Texas, the late Mr. James McCary, and the late Mrs. Lucy Dolan both of Montgomery, Alabama.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Corydon Thomas of Frisco, Texas.
He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Ritchey, and Mrs. Dan Thomas, and the late Mr. Dan Thomas, all of Frisco, Texas.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, Jennifer chose a couture gown designed by Monique Lhuillier.
The fitted scooped neck bodice was detailed with vertical rows of delicate embroidery work and beading.
Covered bridal buttons accented the back that led to a full-length multi-layered tulle skirt. Jennifer chose a double short veil of matching illusion.
Miss Angela Renee Limmer, sister of the bride, served as Maid of Honor.
Bridesmaids included Miss Kathryn Lynn Bonner, Mrs. Courtney Teel Mitchell, Miss Laura Suzanne Mitchell, Miss Jeannette Sirois, and Miss Laurie Kathryn Mikes, all of Houston; Miss Ashley Elaine Mayo of San Antonio; Miss Sarah Jane Blanchard and Mrs. Jennifer Turley Reilly, both of Austin.
Miss Kaitlin Vilhauer of Frisco, Texas served as Junior Bridesmaid.
Miss Jaimie Limmer of Victoria, niece of the bride, served as Flower Girl.
The bride's House Party included Miss Leslie Bigoness and Miss Amy Lynn Ross, both of Nacogdoches; Miss Erin Williams and Carrie Randal Crowley, both of Fort Worth; Miss Mary Beth Wier of San Antonio; and Miss Katherine Elizabeth Richardson of Houston.
Serving his friend as Best Man was Will Rasor of Frisco, Texas.
Groomsmen included Mr. Ryan Griffin, Mr. Chad Cunningham, Mr. Chase Chandler, Mr. Matthew Reedy, and Mr. Byron Dowd; all of Frisco; Mr.Jeffrey W. Limmer, brother of the bride; Mr. Chase LeBlanc and Mr. Ramsey Walker, both of Spring, Texas.
Ushers included Mr. Keo N. Ehrhardt of College Station; Mr. Mark Voss of Palo Alto, California; Mr. Randolph McGee, Mr. Brian Foreman and Mr. Keith Harrington; all of Frisco.
Dalton Johnson, nephew of the groom, served as Ring Bearer.
Jennifer graduated from Memorial High School in Houston.
She earned a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from Texas A&M; University where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority.
She is employed at US Home Corporation in Dallas.
Clay graduated from Frisco High School in Frisco, Texas.
He also earned a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from Texas A&M; University.
He is currently employed with Rodman Excavation, Inc. in Frisco.
Following a honeymoon trip to Cancun, Jennifer and Clay will reside in Weston, Texas.
