Shanda K. Shields and Dominic P. Barzilla were united in marriage on Saturday, June 6th, 1998 at Grace Presbyterian Church. A luncheon-reception followed at Pine Forest County Club.
Shanda is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard T. Shields. Dominic is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dominic Barzilla.
Carla Sharrer, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor and Melanie Bayer, sister of the groom was a bridesmaid. Christina Bayer, niece of the groom, served as flower girl. Heidi Rutz assisted guest with the signing of the guest registry.
Dominic Barzilla served as his son's best man and Scott Bayer, brother-in-law of the groom, was a groomsman. Zachary Bayer, nephew of the groom, was the ringbearer. Ushers were Matthew Baird, Peter Doyle, Tinsley Kemp Jones, Ciro Lampasas, Clayton Miller, David Nini, Charles Schwarz III, John Sparacino, and James Weaver.
Following a honeymoon in Hawaii the couple will live in Houston.
