Dawn Sheree Hodges and Kenneth Steven Crouse were united in marriage on Saturday, May 9, 1998 at four o'clock in the afternoon at Chapelwood United Methodist Church with Rev. Carey Sayers officiating. Organist, Mr. Gregg Punswick, vocalist, Mrs. Andrea Jaber and the Chapelwood Hand Bellchoir provided the music for the ceremony. The groom and bride lit the unity candle. A reception followed at the Courtyard on St. James Place with music by Sound Connections.
Dawn is the daughter of Ms. Sheryl Hodges of Houston and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold E. Harris. Kenneth is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Steven Crouse of El Paso, Texas and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Schettler and Mrs. Evelyn Crouse.
Miss Hodges wore a dress of Dupioni silk with a fitted bodice of pearls and lace. To complement the gown she carried a bouquet of classic dome of white, ivory and pale peach roses. Ms. Kristen Lawrence, sorority big sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Ms. Vanessa Barrera, Ms. Emily Williams and Mrs. Laura Perkins. Paige Schurman was the flowergirl.
The groom's brother, Mr. Keith Crouse, was the best man. The groomsmen were Mr. Salvador Cicero, Mr. Trip Owen and Mr. Ryan Scott. Mr. Will Ellston and Mr. Jack Williamson were the ushers.
Dawn is a graduate of Stratford High School. She attended Texas A&M; University and is currently attending Northwestern School of Education in Illinois. She is a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority.
Kenneth is a graduate of Coronado High School and Texas A&M; University School of Animal Sciences. He is a member of Lamba Chi Fraternity. He is a Representative for ConAgra.
Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth S. Crouse will reside in Wheaton, Illinois.
