Leah Naomi Frierson of Houston and Todd Alden Muslow of Shreveport were united in marriage Saturday, June 13, 1998, at St. Mark's Cathedral in Shreveport. The Reverend Dr. Larry Williams officiated at the double ring afternoon ceremony. Following the ceremony a reception was held at The Shreveport Country Club, with music by Windstorm.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Carolyn Allen of Houston and the late Roy Robert. Her grandparents are Dr. & Mrs. J.N. Frierson of Houston and Mrs. Elizabeth Rader of Alice, Texas and the late John Raeler, Jr. The groom is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Richard J. Muslow of Shreveport. He is the grandson of Mr. & Mrs. Theodore Newport and Mr. & Mrs. Marvin Muslow, all of Shreveport.
Audra Muslow served as maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Mary Ruth Moore, Vanessa Rakestraw, Katy Valentine and Kerry Bujarski.
Mr. Muslow's best man was Grig Lane. Groomsmen were Scott Burlison, Cooper Heard, Joby Ogwyn, and Travis Crudup. Taylor Frierson and Elizabeth Frierson served as acolytes.
The bride graduated cum laude last month from Centenary College of Louisiana and will begin her Masters of Arts in Teaching at Centenary while pursuing a career in elementary education. Mr. Muslow graduated from Centenary in 1997 and is currently working as an auditor at KPMG Peat Marwick.
Following their honeymoon in Hawaii, the couple will reside in Bossier City, Louisiana.
