Joella Bitter Lupe and Steven Patrick Mach were united in marriage on Saturday, May 9, 1998 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in San Antonio. A reception was held at the home of the bride's grandparents.
Joella is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Bennett Lupe of San Antonio, Texas. Steven is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Emil Mach, Jr. of Houston, Texas.
Lisbeth Ann Church Dunlap was the matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Amy Elizabeth Bitter, Anne Elizabeth Moses, Katherine Hetrick Buzzini, Elizabeth Thomson Hetrick and Catherine Coiner Park. Reagan Riley Gulley and Berkley Anne Kingman were the flowergirls.
Harry Emil Mach III was the best man. The groomsmen were William Bartle Lupe III, Robert Curtis Robinson III, Paul Adam Cox, Christopher Carey Saunders and Jeffrey Franklin Hetrick. Calvin Cornelius Dunlap was the ringbearer. The ushers were Bryon London Buzzini, Walter James Buzzini IV, John Palmer Dunlap and David Allen Watson.
Joella is a graduate from St. Mary's Hall High School in San Antonio and Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. She was Queen of the Order of the Alamo during Fiesta San Antonio 1991. She is currently a member of Phi Upsilon Omicron Honor Society and she is preparing for a career in Interior Design.
Steven is a graduate from St. Thomas High School in Houston and Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas where he was a member of Chi Delta Tau and director of Chi Delta Tau Foundation. Steven is a partner in his family's firm, Mach Industrial Group, of Houston.
The couple took a wedding trip to France and will reside in Houston.
