Miss Tiffany Yezak and Mr. Stephen Michael McKinney were united in marriage on Saturday, June 6, 1998 at half past seven in the evening at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in Houston, Texas. The formal double-ring ceremony was officiated by Monsignor James Jamail. The music was provided by the Sunrise Chamber Ensemble String Quartet. Scriptures were read by Nancy Yawn and Tony Yezak. A buffet reception followed at the Houston Center Club with live music provided by Marshall Maxwell Entertainment. The church and reception were adorned with 2000 white roses provided by Lexis Florist. On the eve of the wedding, a rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom's parents.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Yezak of Bellaire, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Helen Yawn and the great-granddaughter of Mrs. Bessie Yawn. The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Mike McKinney of Austin, Texas. He is the grandson of Mrs. Pat Sherbrook and Mr. and Mrs. Jesse McKinney and the great-grandson of Mrs. Era Talmadge and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Buzbee.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a white gown designed by Eve of Milady from Houston Bridal Gallery. The basque waistline gown featured long sleeves of Venice lace, crystals and pearls and a flowing Cathedral length train. The full skirt, made of organza, was trimmed at the bottom with Venice lace and crystals. To complement the gown, she wore a jeweled crown veil of crystals and pearls which framed her face and shoulders and extended beyond the length of her train.
Attending the bride as matron of honor was Heather Yezak. The bridesmaids were Erin Fullerton, Claudia Sampayo, Rebekah Yezak, Kim Clark and Rene Sigman. Natashia Yezak was the flowergirl. The hostesses were Susan Yawn and Vanessa Yezak.
Serving as the best man was Seth McKinney. The groomsmen were Mark Yezak, Matt Torno, Billi Luci, Taylor Atchison and Dan Campbell. Sean McKinney was the ring bearer. The ushers were Joshua Yezak, Doug Kutta, Brent Dorman and Darrel Campbell.
Tiffany graduated from Katy High School and Southwest Texas State University with a degree in Health Administration. She is an International Model featured in magazines, television and advertising. Tiffany will continue her modeling career and involvement in charity and volunteer work in the Indianapolis area.
Upon graduation from Clear Lake High School, Steve played football for Texas A&M; University where he was a four year letterman and consensus All-Big Twelve selection at guard. Steve was then drafted by the Indianapolis Colts where he is currently in training.
The wedding was coordinated by Mrs. Leona Sparks of Pure Elegance accompanied by Tony's Custom Cakes, Ice Creations and Alston Limousines.
Steve and Tiffany will be residing in Indianapolis, Indiana and the couple has chosen to delay their honeymoon to Hawaii until after the current 1998 NFL Season.
