Heather Darnell Pace and John E Marshall were united in marriage on Saturday, June 6, 1998 at the Chapel of St. John the Divine, Houston, Texas. The Reverend Laurens A. Hall officiated the double ring ceremony. A reception followed at the Junior League of Houston. On the eve of the wedding, the groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Nino's restaurant.
Heather is the daughter of Mr.and Mrs. Temple B. Pace of Houston. she is the granddaughter of Mrs. Darnell Mitchell of Houston. John is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Murton J. Marshall of Pasadena.
Jennifer Joseph served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Robin Reardon, Anne Walzel, and Marti Glasco.
Second Lieutenant Cuong Luong served as best man. The groomsmen were Brian Bennett, Greg Walls, and Richard Wolny. Murt Marshall, brother of the groom, Temple B. Pace, Jr., brother of the bride, and Shawn Hooker served as ushers.
Heather graduated from St. John's School, and is a graduate of Texas A & M University. She is a member of Delta Delta Delta.
John graduated from Sam Rayburn High School, and is a graduate of Texas A & M University, where his was a member of the Crops of Cadets. He is a Second Lieutenant in the United States Marine Crops.
Following a honeymoon to England, the couple will reside in Quantico, Virginia.
