Miss Kristie Ann Parker and Mr. Clinton Starr Wetmore were united in marriage Saturday, June 20th at Christ Church Cathedral. The ceremony was performed by the Reverend James Pittman McGehee, godfather of the groom. Music was provided by Bob Simpson, organist.
A reception follow at River Oaks Country Club with music provided by The Works. On the eve of the wedding a rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom's parents at The Manor at the Houstonian.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Josephine Smith Parker of Houston, Texas and Mr. William Right Parker III of Houston, Texas. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Robert Hume Smith, Jr. and Mr. & Mrs. William Right Parker, Jr. of Houston, Texas.
The groom is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Jack Starr Wetmore of Houston, Texas. He is the grandson of the late Mr. & Mrs. William Alfred Fikes and Mrs. Eve Treadwell Wetmore of Houston, Texas and Mr. & Mrs. Mack Randall Wetmore of Houston, Texas.
Rebecca Todd Gorsuch of Houston, Texas attended the bride as the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Amy Davol of Atlanta, Georgia, Kimberly Massingill of Houston, Texas, Karen Nalle of Austin, Texas, and Leigh Wooldridge Smith of Atlanta, Georgia. Junior Bridesmaids were Allyson Robson and Kelly Robson, cousins to the bride, of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Chad Wetmore, brother of the groom, of Houston, Texas attended the groom as best man. Groomsmen were William R. Parker, brother of the bride, of Houston, Texas, Will Davis of Houston, Texas, Chad Kuriger of Houston, Texas, Rick Snell of Houston, Texas, and Andy Suman of Houston, Texas. Stedman Grigsby, John Johnson, Clay Rotan, and Paul Stalling all of Houston, Texas served as ushers.
The Bride is a graduate of the Kinkaid School and the University of Houston. She is employed by SourceNet Solutions, Inc.
The groom is a graduate of the Kinkaid School and the University of San Diego. He is employed by Cornerstone Ventures.
Following the honeymoon to Paris, France the couple will reside in Houston, Texas.
