Holly Suzanne Helmke and Rodolfo Edward Tatuaca were married on June 20, 1998 in a candlelight double-ring ceremony at Zion Lutheran Church in Houston. The ceremony was performed by Pastor Jeff St. Clair. Music was provided by Marlin Dickerson, organist and Amy Cheatwood and Cindy Petty, flutists. A dinner and dance reception was held at the Allen Park Inn.
The bride is the daughter of Becky Helmke Hite and Charles A. Helmke, Houston, TX. The groom is the son of Berta Tatuaca Valle and Oscar Tatuaca, Houston, TX.
The bride wore a gown of bridal satin overlayed with silk organza. The bodice featured a v-neck front and back with shorts sweetheart sleeves adorned with schiffli lace covered in pearls and sequins. The full antebellum skirt was dripping with schiffli appliques and edged with scalloped lace, flowing into a full cathedral train. The bride carried a cascade bouquet of star gazers, roses, daises, stiphenotus, delpinium and greenery. Mrs. Julie McCoy was Matron of Honor and Mr. Mark Funk was Best Man. Bridesmaids were Miss Kim Kallman, Miss Debbie Tatuaca and Mrs. Rose Marks. Groomsmen were Mr. Eric Tatuaca and Mr. Gerard Trevino. Other attendants were Miss Sharon Tatuaca, Miss Lisa Cheatwood and Mr. Lance Petty.
Following a honeymoon in Hawaii, the couple will reside in Bellaire.
