Michelle Leigh Sproule and William Nathan Peacock were united in marriage of Saturday, February 21, 1998 at seven o'clock in the evening at Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church in Houston, Texas. Reverend Harry Adamson performed the double ring ceremony. Music was provided by pianist Mrs. Carol Penton, organist Mr. Wayne Richmond, and soloists Miss Jill Kirby and Mrs. Sharon Purdue. A reception followed at Pine Forest Country Club. On the eve of the wedding a rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom's parents at the Junior League of Houston. A bridesmaids luncheon was hosted by the bride's mother and grandfather at the Junior League of Houston on the day of the wedding.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Jamie Cannan Sproule of Houston and Mr. William Jay Sproule of Omak, Washington. She is the granddaughter of the late Mrs. La Verne Sloan Cannan and Mr. James Thomas Cannan of Houston. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William S. Peacock of Cedar Rapids, Iowa attended the wedding. The groom is the grandson of the late Mr. Richard Bullard.
Given in marriage by her family and escorted by her grandfather, the bride wore a formal white satin brocade gown of her own design which featured a sweetheart neckline accented with bridal pearls and a cathedral length train.
Mrs. Michelle Nelson served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Stacy Benton, Miss Cheryl Bright, Miss Clara Chun, Miss Ashley Lynch, Miss Elizabeth Shelton and Miss Emily Sproule. The flower girl was Miss Kristan Hennessy.
Groomsmen were Mr. Drew Gibson, Mr. Jamie Horsch, Mr. Steve Moore, Mr. Greg Parker, Mr. David Peacock and Mr. Jeffrey Peacock. Ushers included Mr. Doug DeGeorge, Mr. Michael Finger, Mr. Malcom Hartman, Mr. Keith Joris and Mr. Chad Sproule.
The bride is a graduate of Memorial High School and Texas A&M; University. She is a member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority.
The groom is a graduate of Lamar High School and Texas A&M; University.
The couple honeymooned in Heavenly, Nevada. Mr. and Mrs. Peacock reside in Bryan, Texas.
