Miss Angela Gerette Jordan and Mr. Gregory Edward Hyzak were united in the Holy Sacrament of Marriage on Saturday, June 20, 1998 at Annunciation Catholic Church, Houston, Texas. Father Francis W. Huete, S.J. celebrated the Nuptial Mass. A reception followed at the DoubleTree Hotel. On the eve of the wedding, a rehearsal dinner was held at Grappino di Nino.
Angela is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald W. Jordan. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Zarzana and Mrs. Shirley Jordan and the late Mr. Roy Jordan. Greg is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard J. Hyzak. He is the grandson of Mrs. Henrietta Pokorny and the late Mr. Emil Pokorny and Mrs. Cecilia Provaznik and the late Mr. John Hyzak.
Serving her sister as Maid of Honor was Jennifer Jordan Bellecour. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Bozell, Sarah Calp, Elizabeth Hodnett, Brenda Hyzak, Zane Hyzak, Kristi Jordan, Kelly Kehoe, Melanie Laurence, and Paige Shelton. Flower girl was Destiny Leshikar.
Best men were Randy Hyzak and Dwayne Hyzak, brothers of the groom. Groomsmen were Jonathan Hyzak, Michael Hyzak, Chris Jordan, John Jordan, Bob Martin, John Salazar, Todd Sladek, and Danny Stefek, Jr. Ring bearer was Austin White. Neil Leininger and Daryl Stefek served as ushers.
The bride is a graduate of Saint Agnes Academy and The University of Texas at Austin. She is a first grade teacher in the Alvin Independent School District.
The groom is a graduate of Taylor High School, Taylor, Texas and The University of Texas at Austin. He is a Database Administrator for Houston Industries, Inc.
Following a honeymoon cruise to the Caribbean, Angelo and Greg will reside in the Houston area.
