Desert Hills Presbyterian Church, Carefree, AZ, was the setting May 23rd for the wedding of Neilia Hunter Lanshe and Jason Wallace Bliss. The Rev. John Fredrick performed the ceremony and a reception followed at Club Terravita in Scottsdale.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James C. Lanshe of Paradise Valley, AZ, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald G. Bliss of Houston, TX.
Mr. Lanshe gave his daughter in marriage, and Erin Hansen attended the bride as maid of honor. Lisa Greene, Erin Humphries, and Anita Kline were the bridesmaids and the bride's sister, Gabrielle Lanshe, was a junior bridesmaid. Cousins, Patricia Parcells and Kobi Parcells, attended the bride as flower girls. Mr. Bliss served as best man for his son. Erik Bliss, the groom's brother, Craig Layman, Simon Davidson, and Trey Lanshe, the bride's brother, were the groomsmen.
Mrs. Bliss graduated with distinction from the University of Virginia, receiving a degree of Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She accepted a position as a consultant with Cerner Corp.
Mr. Bliss, a graduate of Strake Jesuit Preparatory School in Houston, graduated with distinction from the University of Virginia with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Engineering, having concentrated in biomedical engineering. He has a position with Anderson Consulting in Washington, D.C., where the couple will reside.
