Miss Sharon Renee' Key and Mr. Patrick DeWayne Thrash were united in marriage on Saturday, March 28, 1998 at six o'clock in the evening at First Baptist Church in Rosenberg, Texas. The double ring ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Jim P. Thrash and the Rev. Ernest Weedon. Music was provided by organist and vocalist Pennie Snell, vocalists Kim and Jeff Baggett and trumpeter Kevin Henderson. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at The Richmond House in Richmond, Texas.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white gown made of satin and imported lace adorned with pearls and sequins. The basque waist was accented by rosettes and the skirt fell in a royal train adorned in sequins and pearls. To compliment her gown, the bride wore a pearl headpiece cascading in fingertip illusion.
The bride is the daughter of Jerry and Jo Elaine Key of Deer Park, Texas. Serving the bride as Maid of Honor was Kathy Ransonette. Bridesmaids were Stacy Hicinbothem, Michelle Kasparek, Sherri Parkhill, Cynthia Thrash, Brook Standley and Stephanie Love. Mini Bride was Marissa Thrash, daughter of the groom. Flower girls were Caitlin Hicinbothem and Rachel Forrest. Wade Forrest served as Ring Bearer.
The groom is the son of Jim and Carol Thrash of st. Petersburg, Florida. Michael Tillman served as Best Man. Groomsmen were Mike Dark, Steve Finn, Al Johnson, Clint Brown, Derek Driggers and Kirby Standley. Assisting as usher was David Parkhill, nephew of the groom.
Assisting in the wedding's house party were Amy Hall and Ashton Tippett.
The bride is a graduate of Deer Park High School and Sam Houston State University. The groom a graduate of Gulfport High School and The University of Mississippi. Both are employed at Fluor Daniel in Sugar Land. Following a honeymoon trip to Maui, Hawaii, the couple are making their home in Missouri City.
