Itze Ann Ramos and Billy Don Dixon were united in marriage on Saturday, January 17, 1998 at two o'clock in the afternoon at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Houston. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Howard E. Drabek. Reception dinner and dance followed at the Sheraton Astrodome.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eduardo Ramos, Jr. of Spring, Texas. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Mac Dixon, of Wallis, Texas. He is the grandson of Eloise Hargett, of Old Ocean, Texas.
Mrs. Aurelia Paul served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids included Lori Ramos, Alicia Sanchez and Helen Alejandre, cousins of the bride; Maria Garza; and Irene Solis.
Mr. John Dixon served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Lynn Dixon and Mark Dixon, brothers of the groom; Eddie Ramos, brother of the bride; Kyle Bone; and Todd Bone.
Itze is a graduate of Texas A&M; University with a B.B.A. in Marketing. She is currently a senior staffing consultant for Carlton Staffing.
Billy is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering and The University of Houston with a Doctor of Jurisprudence. He is employed by Lanier Yeates, P.C.
The couple will reside in Houston.
