Miss Erin Kathleen Murphy and Mr. Winston Boon Whittington were united in marriage on Saturday, November 29, 1997 at seven thirty in the evening at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Houston, Texas.
Erin's Great Uncle, Father Forest Macken officiated at the ceremony. A candlelight reception was held at the Plaza Club immediately following the ceremony. On the eve of the wedding, the Groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Birraporetti's Wine Cellar in River Oaks.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Brian Murphy of Friendswood, Texas.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Whittington of Edna, Texas.
Erin is a graduate of Friendswood High School and Sam Houston State University where she was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority and Sweetheart of Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity.
The bride received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Criminal Justice.
Winston is a graduate of Gregory-Portland High School.
He was a member of Alpha Tau Omega. The Groom received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. He is currently employed by the Department of Justice as a Border Patrol Agent in Temecula, California.
After this honeymoon in San Lucia the couple will reside in Temecula, California.
